O.T Assist ( 2 Years ) ~ I.Sc

Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a Diploma level Operations Theatre Technology program. This program prepares aspirants to work in the operation theatre as a competent reliable technologist among the other team members of a healthcare department, under the supervision and guidance of senior doctors and Technical persons in their delivery of patient care. They learn the utilization of numerous diagnostic equipment for example Ventilators, monitors, Defibrillators, C-arm etc. and also patient assessment abilities. Training also concentrates on the knowledge and skills of monitoring infection control policy and procedures in the operation theatre.

OT Technicians work in Operation Theatre of hospitals, Emergency Departments and Intensive Care Units. Their main responsibility is to assist and help Doctors and Surgeons during surgery and emergency procedures. Under the setup of a doctor’s facility, Operation Theatre experts are generally part of a team that comprises of Doctors, attendants, nurses and other allied healthcare service professionals.

List of documents required at the time of Admission

The applicants shall be required to produce the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies at the time of admission:

Class X Certificate (Mark-sheet or certificate) indicating date of birth and Parents‘ names* (The names of applicants claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM must match with the names that appear on the corresponding reservation certificates; similarly their parents‘ names must match in both sets of certificates).
Class XII Mark-Sheet.
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM Certificate (in the name of the Applicant) issued by the competent authority. (The names of applicants claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM must match with the names that appear on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly their parents‘ names must match in both sets of certificates)
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Applicant) issued by the competent authority, and wherein the caste is in the OBC central list issued by http://ncbc.nic.in. (The name of the applicant claiming reservation under OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) must match with the applicant‘s name as it appears on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly their parents‘ names must match in both sets of certificates).
EWS Certificate from competent authority certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category. (The names of applicants claiming reservation under this category must match with the names that appear on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly their parents‘ names must match in both sets of certificates).
PWD applicants must furnish a valid disability certificate issued by a recognized Government hospital, bearing a photograph of the applicant

Rules And Regulations

• Students can only enter campus by showing their identity cards.
• Ragging is strictly banned.
• Consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or any narcotic substance is prohibited.
• Students cheating or using unfair means in examination will be penalized.
• All the conditions will be enforced strictly and those students who do not follow the above rules will be punished.
• Save water : All students are requested to use water judiciously and preserve it.
College campus is an eco-friendly place and is a plastic free zone. Students must comply with the garbage disposal system in the campus.
